The Exhibition will take place during the joint AOU / Cooper Society / Society of Canadian Ornithologists meeting. Participants in the meeting include members of the Oregon Audubon Societies, Oregon Zoo, Portland Art Museum, and birders from all over. It will be a great opportunity to appreciate the work of people of love birds, as well as bird art.

The Art of Conservation An International Exhibition of Nature in Art Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum Oradell, NJ
On its 10th anniversary year, the Artists for Conservation Foundation (AFC) launches its first annual juried exhibition, featuring the nature art of its members. The Art of Conservation celebrates artistic excellence in the depiction of nature, raises awareness of conservation issues, and directly supports organizations dedicated to addressing them.
The Wildlife Conservation Society, based in New York City, has been selected as the beneficiary for 2008.
